These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and any orders placed with Castleton Village Center, Inc., dba Hightech Signs (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting.

 Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use this website or place orders.

Certain features may require account registration. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

 

Custom Products & Order Accuracy

All products sold are custom-made to order.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving:

  • Artwork, layout, spelling, content, and dimensions
  • File quality and resolution
  • Product options and specifications selected during checkout

Once an order is submitted, a proof will be provided when applicable.

Proofs & Approval

If a proof is provided:

  • Production will not begin until approval is received
  • Approval confirms all details are correct, including artwork, text, colors, quantities, materials, and finishing

We are not responsible for errors approved by the customer.

Delays in proof approval may delay production and shipping timelines.

Color Accuracy & Material Variations

Printed colors may vary due to monitor settings, lighting, materials, and production processes.

Customers may provide Pantone® Color Bridge – Coated references when exact color matching is required. While we strive for excellent color accuracy, minor variations in color, finish, or texture are normal and do not constitute defects.

Turnaround Time & Production

Production time is calculated from order and proof approval to ship date. It does not include artwork submission time, proof revisions, approval delays, or shipping transit time.

Unless otherwise stated, our standard production turnaround is approximately five (5) business days. Larger or complex orders may require additional time.

Orders may ship earlier than expected unless a specific delivery date is requested.

Rush Orders

Rush production may be available for qualifying orders and carries additional fees based on required ship date, provided order and proof approval are received by 2:00 PM Eastern Time:

  • Next business day ship: 50% rush fee
  • Two (2) business day ship: 25% rush fee
  • Three (3) business day ship: 15% rush fee

Rush availability depends on production capacity, materials, staffing, and vendor performance.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Because orders are custom-produced:

  • Orders may be canceled after production begins, and customers are responsible for all costs incurred up to that point
  • Changes requested after proof approval may incur additional charges and affect delivery timelines

Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

Not all shipping transit times are guaranteed.

Certain FedEx and UPS services offer guaranteed delivery commitments, while others provide estimated transit times only. Freight shipments may offer guaranteed delivery options in some cases, but availability is not guaranteed and typically requires an    additional fee.

Shipping method selection is based on size, weight, and destination.

Risk of loss and ownership transfer to the customer once the order is shipped.

Customers must inspect deliveries promptly and report shipping damage within one (1) business day of receipt.

Returns, Refunds & Reprints

Custom printed products are non-returnable.

Refunds or reprints may be considered only for:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Errors caused by our production process

Refunds or reprints will not be issued for:

  • Customer-approved errors
  • File quality or resolution issues
  • Expected color variations

Claims must be submitted within seven (7) days of delivery and must include photos.

   

Intellectual Property & Uploaded Content

By uploading content, you confirm you own or have permission to use all artwork, logos, images, and text.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from customer-supplied content.

File Storage & Retention

We invest significant time and effort into organizing, storing, and backing up customer artwork and production files so they can be referenced for future orders.

As part of our standard operations, artwork files are retained for the previous ten (10) years. Customers are encouraged to retain their own copies for personal records.

Pricing, Errors & Taxes

Prices are subject to change without notice. However, we make every reasonable effort to notify customers of pricing changes in advance whenever possible.

All estimates are guaranteed for thirty (30) days from the date created.

In the event of a pricing or typographical error, we reserve the right to correct the error and provide updated pricing prior to order acceptance.

Applicable taxes, fees, and shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout.

Disclaimer of Warranties

All products and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” to the fullest extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

   

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the order giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including missed events, lost revenue, or business interruption.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, power outages, labor disruptions, supplier delays, or carrier issues.

Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in state or federal courts located in Indiana.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
